Hourigan Connolly obtained planning permission for the variation of a condition on the extant planning permission. The client’s brief was to alter the split between the previously permitted A1/A3 retail floorspace to increase the operational A1 floorspace within the existing Chill FactorE building. The variation would enable the client to lease a retail unit to an identified tenant.
The approved variation of the planning condition has resulted in a previously vacant retail unit being occupied by an established retailer, thereby improving the economic, social and environmental conditions of the Chill FactorE.
