On behalf of The Strategic Land Group, we are preparing an outline planning application for residential development at land north of Ings Road, Kinton in Lindsey.
We are now undertaking a period of consultation on the draft proposals that will run until:
23 March 2020.
Although all feedback will be considered, the volume of responses unfortunately means we can’t respond to everybody individually. A summary of all the comments and our responses to them will be included as part of any planning application that we submit. Should an application be submitted, you will also have the opportunity to provide comments direct to the council as part of that process.

Since the leaflet was distributed to the local community on Friday 6 March 2020 we have been informed that the Council has recently conceded in two separate appeal hearings that it cannot demonstrate a five year supply of deliverable dwellings as required by national planning policy. Consequently, the Council’s policies relating to the supply of housing are out of date which means that when the application is submitted to the Council, planning permission should be granted unless any adverse impacts of doing so would significantly and demonstrably outweigh the benefits. In our view the benefits of this proposal are significant and the disbenefits are very limited and would not outweigh the benefits of the scheme.
