Following the refusal of detailed planning permission for an exclusive development of 24 dwellings Hourigan Connolly were instructed to the First Ministers.
The Council claimed that the site should provide affordable housing, the scheme made an inefficient use of the land and contained an inappropriate mix of dwellings.
The Council’s reasons for refusal were rejected by the Inspector appointed to determine the appeal. The appeal was allowed and detailed planning permission granted without any affordable housing being required.
