Hourigan Connolly managed an application for the appoval of reserved matters (appearance, scale, layout and landscape) for the development of 105 dwellings on the former Saighton Camp site on the outskirts of Chester. The key issues facing the redevelopment of the brownfield site were primarily design related in so far as the site comprised Area C of the wider site and it was necessary to produce a design that was complimentary to the surrounding residential developments and existing landscape features surrounding the site.
Following successful negotiations with Officer’s at Cheshire West and Chester Council the reserved matters application was approved under delegated powers in April 2016.
