Hourigan Connolly assisted Richborough Estates in securing outline planning permission for residential development of this greenfield site in Stafford. The site forms the central part of the North Stafford Strategic Development Location which is coming forward for circa 3,500 new homes and 36 hectares of employment and community facilities.
Amongst other things this application involved carefully negotiating conditions/planning obligations to ensure that following approval development could commence and be delivered quickly without any reliance on the delivery of infrastructure on other parts of the Strategic Development Location. The site was subsequently sold to Miller Homes (East Midlands Division).
